Introduction
This glossary gathers numerous concepts and notions which are helpful to better understand tropical meteorology in general, the monitoring of the tropical systems and specificities used at the RSMC La Réunion. Some of the terms have different meanings; WMO definitions or speaking language have sometines a meaning different from the one used by tropical cyclones specialists (ex: "monsoon trough").
